How much do I need???
When
figuring for mulch or rock the first information needed is the
area's measurement in square feet.
Measuring and then taking the length times width (LxW)
will give the square feet.
Generally 1 yard of mulch or 1 ton of rock will cover approx.
125 square feet 2-3" deep. It is important to take into
account whether it is new coverage, topdressing, and the size of
the rock.
We
recommend a good quality landscape fabric/weed barrier for use
under rock. In most cases weed barrier is not used under
mulch.
We stock Dewitt Pro5 weed barrier in 3', 4', &
5' widths that can be custom cut for your project.
